WHAT IT IS: 23-year-old Humberto Rodriguez Terrazas, aka HUMBE, has been taking the Latin pop scene by storm. The rising star earned a Latin Grammy nom for Best New Artist following his breakthrough album, Entropía, which he wrote and produced at just 20. Last year, he dropped his fourth album, ESENCIA, one of his most personal projects to date. Shortly after, he dropped his hit song “fantasmas,” which pays tribute to Mexican culture in its lyrics and mariachi production. During the last year, HUMBE has sold out theaters and arenas across Mexico. He released his latest single “Malbec” in June.
